Title A name given to the resource Debate ESU Champions 2016 Description An account of the resource In 2016, The Grange School English Debate Team won the prestigious ESU Debate tournament. Below is the comment which was sent through the Weekly Bulletin. "We are proud to announce that last Saturday The Grange School won the English Speaking Union debate competition. The whole team, players and non-players have done a perfect job throughout the last few months, plus the heart and dedication put into this challenge throughout the last few years have enabled this great accomplishment. We left behind Nido de Aguilas in the quarter-finals, and Villa María in the semi-finals. The team finally came up against Santiago College in last Saturday's final, and won a very tight and intense battle thanks to their great teamwork, magnificent style and formidable delivery. The Grange School thanks all those pupils who currently belong to the Debate Club, and also those who at some point made an effort in contributing to what we are today: CHAMPIONS!"
